Frequently Asked Questions

Can my child participate as a CIT in the morning and not attend camp in the afternoon?
No, our CIT Program is a full-day option so it requires the camper to register for both the morning cooking camp and the afternoon cooking camp.
How much does it cost to be a CIT?
CITs enjoy a discount on the morning camp with full-price registration in our afternoon camp.
When should my child arrive for the program?
CITs arrive at 8:50am to get the rundown for the day from our culinary crew.
What will my child do during the morning camp?
CITs assist younger campers in daily cooking adventures, story time, hand washing, apron tying, and more as well as helping to maintain a clean Kitchen. CITs also enjoy special responsibilities that may include helping with games and activities and preparing take-home containers for our recipes.
Should my child bring a lunch?
Yes! CITs bring their own nut-free lunch to enjoy from 12:00-1:00pm. Lunchtime is a quiet time in our Kitchen so CITs are encouraged to bring a book or other quiet entertainment. On select days we may watch a cooking program or have small projects for our CITs. CITs are not allowed to leave the Kitchen during this time.
