Chef of the Month: Shauna
Since recently joining the TBK team, Shauna has received rave reviews from clients through all kinds of events that she hosts with us from After School Semester programs to Adult BYOB Workshops!
- First Culinary Creation: The first thing I really remember making on my own was a vanilla cake in an Easy Bake oven when I was about 4 years old. I was so excited when it was finally done baking and when I bite into a slice, I realized I used salt instead of sugar!
- Favorite Recipe: I always love experimenting in the kitchen, but my favorite thing to make (and enjoy) is probably guacamole.
- Favorite Kitchen Utensil: My immersion blender
- Favorite Cooking Fact: You can substitute 1 tbsp of ground flax seeds with 2 tbsp of water for each egg in a recipe for some added Omega 3’s.
- Wants to cook next: I really want to perfect my vegetable samosas!
