We offer cooking classes that teach various menus and cuisines, from pasta making to rolling sushi and folding dumplings. All of our menus are designed around having fun and learning something new.
We offer three kinds of kids classes: With Caregiver, Family & Kids-only (aka drop-off).
With Caregiver Cooking Classes: With Caregiver classes are designed for kids and parents to cook together! Register for the number of children that will attend. A spot for the Caregiver is included in the price (aka the parent is free). One parent can sign up and attend with multiple children. Due to space limitations, two parents cannot both participate with one child. The second parent is welcome to watch from our waiting area, take photos or even “tag out” sporadically with the other parent. With caregiver classes are typically for ages 2-8.
Family Cooking Classes: Family classes are designed for kids and parents to cook together! Register for the number of children and adults in your group. A minimum of one adult registration is required per group. Family classes are typically for ages 9-teens.
Kids-Only (Drop-Off) Cooking Classes: Drop-off classes are designed for kids only. Parents are encouraged to run errands and come back at pick-up to sample what we’ve made. Drop-off classes are typically for ages 6-17.
We offer classes seven days a week, although we typically offer more on weekends when kids are off from school. Don’t see a class that matches your schedule? Contact us to schedule a private class at a time that works well for you and your friends.
Our semester students join us each week to have fun as we build on our culinary skills. If we have space available in the class, you can register to drop-in for a single class to see what it’s like before signing up for the rest of the semester.
We divide our classes into age groups in order to keep the instruction engaging and age-appropriate. Older kids are welcome to join siblings in a class for younger ages but younger children may not join siblings in a class for older ages.
Absolutely! Budding chefs are encouraged to try everything they create. Sometimes a food is new to a child so we encourage them to try at least one bite but take a casual approach to ensure all palates feel comfortable in our Kitchen.
Bring a water bottle labeled with your child’s first and last name. We prefer close-toed shoes and long hair pulled back in our Kitchen. We will have aprons for you to wear, so just bring your smiling face and a willingness to delve into all things tasty!
