Frequently Asked Questions
-
Campers typically make 3 to 4 recipes a day, both savory and sweet, created entirely from scratch. The camp’s description on our booking page offers a “taste” of some of the recipes we’ll be making. We reserve the right to make menu changes due to food availability and/or food allergies. Campers will be encouraged to taste everything created during camp with extras to bring home. Breakfast and lunch are always recommended before/after camp as everyone’s palates are different.
-
All of our menus are nut-free. We do our best to offer a wide variety of menus that cater to different dietary needs and restrictions from vegetarian to gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free and vegan. If you select an allergy-free menu, it is important to note that while the recipes are free of those ingredients, we are not an allergy-free facility for these ingredients. Recipes are cooked at group tables, and for your safety individual adjustments cannot be made. Please contact your local Kitchen if you have any questions.
If an individual participant has an allergy that would prevent them from enjoying what you’ve prepared, they have the option to bring in an individual portion of a nut-free outside food for their enjoyment. For example, a frosted cupcake or room-temp gluten-free pasta dish. The outside food cannot require heat or preparation and TBK will not serve this food to the client.

Our doors open 10 minutes prior to the start of the camp day for check-in. Parents must enter our Kitchen to note who will be picking up and complete our participation waiver. We’ll start promptly, so be sure to arrive on-time to ensure that you are able to get the full experience from start to finish!
Pick-up is promptly at the end of our camp day so please be on time. If you are late for pick-up, your child will automatically be enrolled in our late pick-up program which runs until 30-minutes after the session end-time, and charged the daily rate. If your child is able to leave on their own, we will need written permission which you can provide at drop-off or via email in advance of the first day of camp.
-
You may select to add-on early drop-off (8:30am) or late pick-up (12:30pm) for our morning camp, or late pick-up (4:30pm) to our afternoon camp. This additional time is supervised, and light activities are provided including coloring sheets and word searches while our crew prepares for or cleans-up from a great day!
-
We divide our camps into age groups in order to keep the instruction engaging and age-appropriate. Older children are welcome to join siblings in a younger camp but younger children may not join siblings in an older camp.
-
If your child wants to sit with a friend(s) who signed up for the same camp, please let our office know in advance so we can plan accordingly and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences. When you arrive, we may already have selected table assignments based on the theme of the day, ages and/or skill level. Siblings will be sat together unless otherwise requested. We are unable to accommodate seating requests for late arrivals once kids are already settled.
-
We do not offer a sibling discount.

Bring a water bottle labeled with your child’s first and last name. We prefer close-toed shoes and long hair pulled back in our Kitchen. We will have aprons for you to wear, so just bring your smiling face and a willingness to delve into all things tasty!
Alternatively, you can select to add-on Cupcake Decorating as a fun activity which we can use for the birthday blow-out as well.
Included in our parties is the birthday song, candle blow-out, and cutting and serving of the cake or cupcakes to your guests.
